Hello
We bought a Hanse 371, 2004 in April.  We cleaned the filters of the pumps for the shower and the wc (also the possibility to shower).  Now the pump in the wc works sporadically, it doesn't even go on right now...so frustrating.  We checked all the electrical connections to the on-off switch etc.  Is there something else that we can check?

did the pump itself (engine) got wet? I just replaced one pump which had corroded bearings. Be carefull since the pump will get hot when powered on and can not turn properly

I changed my shower pump for a Whale Gulper shower/bilge pump. My version can handle a certain amount of solids. It does not need a filter & can handle hair etc which is a major plus. It can also run dry OK.
I have a hose lock fitting in the line so I can swop to a long hose with a small copper pipe/nozzle on the end. I use this for mopping up any bilge water in the boat. I have an 8 mm diam hole drilled in the cabin floor and can poke the copper pipe end through the hole and suck up any water that the main pump leaves behind without lifting a floor board. It is handy for clearing up water under the engine etc

Hi Toni,
Which pumps do you mean? In  my ship ( a 400) wich is almost the same , there are twopumps; 1 for the waterpressure and one to drain the shower.
Or do you have an electric toilet ??
