I am at the boat right now and started to look for the cause of the leak right away and it looks like I found the cause: the drain holes.
The drain holes go right through the hull with no copper pipes.
On the outside there is a RVS cover screwed to the hull and no kit has been used. Tomorrow I will put the cover back and use sikaflex to seal the screw holes. Later more.

Hi.
We had the same problem.
We found water liking into the owner cabin from the anchor locker.
We made a bigger hole to drein the water.
The anchor floor we seaed with Sickaflex. and the problem was solved.

Ok, I need some more brain power. I have read the 3 topics about water entering via the anchor locker and I am very sure that my problems also comes from around the drain holes. I have sailed this weekend (nice weather at last) and had no water on deck and no rain. I still had water coming in via the section below the anchor locker.
When I hose the anchor locker directly, then no water comes in. When I hose the outside around the drain holes I do get water inside. The strange thing is that I see the water coming in around the yellow arrow. Any ideas? Can it be the little screw holes on the outside? I hope not. After reading the various posts I still have to check if the hole is drilled through the sandwich laminate or not. Please see some pictures of the situation: |

Based on the input of other threads I put in epoxy tubes in the water holes. Unfortunately I still do get water inside. It still drips on underneath the floor completely on the right front. The amount of water is a lot less. Next I want to laminate the front since I expect a crack somewhere. |

Hi,
Is it possible that when the two halves that make the hull have a very small hole between them when they were joined together? Did you check the outside of the boat? Just an idea. If this is the case the water can travel some distance before exiting at the yellow arrow.

Interesting idea. I will check this as well.
However I see the water dripping in when I put a hose in the anchor locker.
Thanks

We also were getting water in "under the anchor lock" that penetrated into beneath the V-Berth. After checking all of the suggestions last fall (2015), I sealed the drain locker hole-to-hull seams on both sides of the boat with lifecaulk or lifeseal (??) and the v-berth has been bone dry this entire 2016 season. First time it has been dry ever. I think the water was leaking through the hose-to-hull seam.
