Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has fitted a main sheet traveller to a 430 ? Looking at it I could do one on the coach roof or one across the back of the cockpit lockers in front of the wheels. At the moment I'm contemplating the one across the cockpit lookers but would interested to hear if anyone else has tried this ? Thanks Bill |

I think I may put one on the coach roof , a Harken . As I have not sold Elysium. |

Hi,
I have a 411 and moved the travller from cockpit behind the locker to the coach roof. I used Harken equipment all around. The main job was to mount the travller track and be sure it became strong enough for the increased load. I am not sure how it looks on 430, but of interest I probably got som pictures both from the original locations and also from the coach roof.
regards

Hi Bill
At Hyggen we fitted the main sheet traveller in the cockpit from the very beginning, later on supplied with "German" sheeting. Simply superb for sailing both singlehanded and fully crewed |

Hi,
Not sure where I lost the last month ... ! Would it be possible to post some pictures of how you setup the traveller on Hyggen ? I've been looking at the Lewmar track/blocks to stick with the existing gear on Custard Pie. I think I'm going to add two extra winches to the side of the cockpit so the main sheet can go to the aft set, the Genoa to the forward set leaving the winches next to the hatch for the halyards. That way the main sheet trimmer will end up sitting next to the helm which has got to ease the communication process ! Thanks Bill |
