I am a rigger in Annapolis commissioning a new 545. Can someone tell me the running rigging layout for the rope clutches in the cockpit? I am confused because the exits in the mast don't line up with what I think would be the higher loaded lines to the larger XX clutches.

Any Help is appreciated.

We are also doing work customizing the electronics, the galley and installing additional electric heads. I'm happy to offer advice if you need on your projects.

Hello Mike,
this is how we did it finaly after a few changes.
The 2 XX clutches are both for the Dyneema halyards, main and gib.
Port side from outside to inside:halyard main(XX0812), spi halyard,reef 2 front,reef 1 back,sheet main,outhaul main.
Star side from outside to inside :toppinglift,sheet gib,halyard gib(XX8012),reef 1 front,reef 2 back,rodkicker-boomvang
Hope this will help you

Hello Wild

So if I can still count that means you have 6 clutches on each side.

That would be useful. We have 5 on starboard and 4 on port. Another upgrade this year is to add another clutch on port as there is space for one more. We will then not have to share the spinnaker halyard and the Cunningham on one clutch. One more clutch and we would be able to have the topping lift lead back to the cockpit as well. There is always something isn't there

I notice also that you seem to have done away with single line reefing .
