Hi All,
Uhambo and her crew are about to sail the Göta canal from Mem to Göteborg in two days time.
I did not find any post or my search was not appropriate! Any comments on the matter.

I can't believe I saw this post until now, four months too late!
I could have answered all your questions about Göta kanal had I only seen your post. And the weird thing is that I entered Göta kanal via Mem July 14th, just four days before you wrote your post. (The picture below is from Mem just the night before I entered.)



I then left my boat three nights in Söderköping and went back out in the Baltic on the 16th. So we were very close to each other at the moment! I actually sailed south along the "sjöfyran" (which is the "E4 of the sea", if you see the play with the words) so if you come from south we might even have met in the fairway!

You might even have passed the green bouy "Kejsaren" (The Emperor) where it is customary to raise a glass.
