Yes, the replacement is the same as the original (Comet Roma), in a slightly updated version. The shower handle is extractable.

Follow-up on an older post:

Flakfortet is only a short trip from my home port, so we go there regularly. A very cool place for the kids! Going there on a summer afternoon after work is just a blast. On weekends though, the place gets quite crowded. There is a nice restaurant there as well.

Departing from Copenhagen Airport yesterday morning gave me the opportunity to snap a photo of 'Flakfortet'. As you can see, this 'island' is located quite near the city of Copenhagen.

Another snap of my backyard - this is where we often cruise up and down the coastline.

These are great pictures. They remind me of when had sailed from Stockholm to Helsinki and I had to fly back to Stockholm for an appointment and directly thereafter take the trip back. That was a clear day so I could look down at the exact route we had sailed the previous weeks. It was like looking at the charts I had held in my hand when sailing, just with out the soundings. :-)

It was finally time to test the mast ladder I purchased from Kinleven Ltd. It turned out to be quite the talking point at the marina, as no one else had ever seen a mast ladder 'in action' before! It was an easy set-up, and I managed to climb the mast twice. You can actually see me in the last photo waveing and dangling from the bosun's chair (which I used as an extra safety precaution).

...and yes, still with blue skies and 30c... but little wind.

Spending the weekend at Christianshavns Kanal in the heart of Copenhagen.

#hansesally enjoying the big city life — at Wilders Plads.

Saying "Hi!" to a local #kanalrundfart tour boat.

Christianshavns Kanal on an early Sunday morning.

#Trangravsbroen is up! And the race is on!

I have been there many times. In fact is the only guest harbour in Copenhagen that I have visited. I love the place.

It's good to see some pictures from a season when it is not as crowded as I am used to.

Actually this was my first visit since they put up the bridge into the canal. Even though we are in October, our bridge opening caused quite a long queue of cyclist and pedestrians. In the summertime, the hourly opening often causes severe chaos. I wonder how the city even managed to exist before the bridge was build...

If you'd like to learn more about the 'inner bridges' of Copenhagen:

Last time I was there, in 2015, Wilders Plads was full so we got in contact with the nearby boat club who offered us a berth. The same bridges opened - and closed behind us - and it was after that that we realised that there had been some misunderstanding so all the empty berths were the size to accommodat rowing boats, and there we were locked in and could not go anywhere!

So one of us got ashore to talk to the bridge operator who made a few calls and then opened the bridges outside the schedule and directed us to a great place outside another boat in Wilders place.

Fond memories.

Yay... it was windy today 10-14 m/s. Tacking with two reefs in the main for 26NM took us some five hours...

Are you tacking with just the main?
