No, the jib was about 2/3 out. It was just not visible on the initial photo due to the camera angle/perspective. ![]() |

That's what I thought. I have never been successful when trying to tack with either sail. You need both even if you reef them to a minimum.
I no longer have two reefs in my main. I removed the line for the first reef as I never used it. When it is time for reefing, in my opinion you can take the second reef right away. I think that up to that point you can get very far by just trimming the main and spill wind. Johan |

I agree, I don't think I ever used Reef1. Might as well drop the line as you suggested.

Hi! Could you tellme what to choose for the genoa and main sheet, the Gleistein RACE XP or the Gemini X sport, what are the diferences and wich the more confortable to the crew hands? Thank you so much!
