Thanks for the tip regarding the seals.

The original design keeps holds a small pool of water above the seal. I suppose it was always going to leak at some point. Ours is worst when you hose the boat, significant water gets through if you forget and aim the hose at the seal.

Apart from the door colour Gordon, when did you sneak on board Muriel for the latch photo?  Did you put an extra latch eye on the door itself so the hook can be attached to the door to prevent it from dangling down and be caught in the door or scratch the door?

The boss and I both agree that Jon's solution was great and it is most secure.
