The tank was relatively clean besides a thin layer of yellowish stuff on the walls (calcium?) and a bit of black sediment at the bottom. We are now considering how to clean the tank/pipes (vinegar, bleach, marine product etc.). We will not be winterising the boat as it is in the southern med. :-)

Puriclean is the normal answer, if you want to flush the whole system.
Whilst you are cleaning everything up, consider putting a pump guard filter in front of the water pump. |
