There should be single green wire going from the anode (inside the hull), to the rudder post. You may be able to trace it but if you can’t, a simple digital meter can give you a continuity reading. It sounds like you are being careful regarding bottom paint around the rudder post. That anode can last many seasons. Mine is still good at 5 years.

Is there a wiring diagram with colours on for the 320 anywhere? James
