Hi guys n gulls
Looking to mount a hydrovane on my hanse 400 (07)transom
Are there any particular makes people might suggest re performance and durability
Looking at transatlantic next couple of years but cruising in the med at the moment,
Also if anyone has mounted it offset so I can keep access to rear ladder
Thanks Eoin

This is for inspiration:
My Aries Lift-up is quite old, but this is the way it is mounted on my H400.
It can be dismounted in a matter of minutes, and stowed so the ladder and bathing platform can be used.

And this photo shows when the Aries is removed.
The Lift-up model from Aries is no longer in production. Nowadays the Aries is produced in Holland (https://ariesvanegear.com/), and I believe that the new model of Aries can be mounted in a similar way as my old windvane.

We got a Windy Provane installed on our H400. It is similar to a hydrovane, but cheaper (alot).

They dont show the windvane on their webpage, but he send alot of info when I contacted him.

Hydrovane est un système complètement différent. Il peut être installé sur le côté de la coque. Et pas les autres regulateur.
On bloque notre barre et c'est le safran de l hydrovane qui dirige
