In this thread you can show your special moments from your 2023 sailing life.
This picture of Ella I shot with my drone during a sleep over last week in "Isefjorden" south of OrÝ.

What a great idea for a thread and what a great picture to start off with! I hope to be able to contribute during the season.

I was fooled by the name Isefjorden and thought it was in Norway at first and I thought "there is no way you can anchor that far from land in a fjord in Norway". Then I looked it up and found out that it is in Denmark (I have been to Hundested a couple of times so I am a bit familiar with the area.

It brings up memories from when I sailed from Kristiansand to Skagen. In the morning I was tacking among the rocky Norwegian islands and the echo sounder that didn't show depths exceeding 60 metres would be blank until I almost ran up on hard land. In the evening I had to steer away from Skagen by three or four nautical miles not to run aground. It is a huge difference between Norway and Denmark in that respect and it is fascinating.

An early spring sail here in the Northeast, USA. A chill in the air but worth every minute after a long winter on the hard. Taken by a buddy of mine on shore.

Not a 2023 picture, but a good use of a nice photo!
Our house has a big glass door to our storage area which has become increasingly cluttered and untidy.

So I came up with a sailor's alternative!
