Dear forum,

After 2 years my q batteries (2*165ah) are super bad. (autopilot and plotter together will run max 6 hours with an easy course)

I believe they where already worse at handover in april 2016. In winter 2016/2017 my dealer said
: We tested them and they are okay. So from them no help at all.

As you know, worse batteries will be bad very fast because of the dicharge.

Can anyone tell me how long you can sail with pilot and plotter and eventually the fridge on?

Can anyone advise me to take the same q batteries again? They are reasonable well priced at 240 euro on this moment.

Regards chris

We have 2 x 160ah on second season and ok so far with 20hr+ passage, but we do have a solar charger which no doubt helps.

Plotter 1.5 Amp
Fridge 3 Amp
Autopilot 3 Amp

2x165Ah should give 150Ah usable.

150Ah / 7.5 is roughly 20 hours.

Install solar panels!!!
