I am assuming that the 345 comes with a Galvanic Isolator. Can anyone tell me where it is located? Also, are faults displayed on the unit or remotely?

Not sure about the 345 but for the 385 this is located in the port cockpit locker.  I'm not sure that it has a display (or even fault reporting) of any sort - if I'm wrong I'd like details of this myself

Being a member for 12 years I should be Admiral by nowSmile
But before asking a question to my fellow Hanse-owners, I always look in the old topics if there should be an answer there. Maybe new members need a little help:
Search>Advanced search>Keyword(Galvanic isolator/zink saver)>Search Forum(All)>Find posts(Any Date)>Start search..................................simple isnŽt it?................then maybe I would google the question and get this (and more)https://www.cruisingworld.com/how/one-cool-remedy-galvanic-isolators.......... Well IŽll try to help anyway, but read the old topics and learn more!
Regarding new zinksavers, you can read at Sterlings homepage: "No need for a monitoring system". Here you can also read, that the zincsaver only works on the yellow/green earthwire from the shorepower. Sterling is offering a zinksaver with 25.000 microfarad/2,5 Volt, but if you read the wise words in the topics here on myhanse, you will see a member who tells, that in Scandinavia(and maybe also in rocky Scotland) the zinksaver is pretty useless in regions with rocky bottoms, because the potential is much higher here.
The zincsaver  (according to my electrician) is a large capacitor. In your fridge or your radio you also find capacitors, little tubes, which can hold a buffer-charge, needed when starting the item.
If I need to know more, I'll just google or wikipedia the word.
In a topic of the past, I mentioned that in theory the zink-saver would protect your electronics against lightning. Being a capacitor, the zinksaver should eat the first burst of the voltage, giving the shore-power relay a few milliseconds to cut the powerline.
As for the location of the zinksaver, it is near your charger, the yellow/green wire from the shorepower entering one side, and leaving the other side. Pictures on Sterling homepage.
