This is a little bit urgent issue for me. My boat has taken on sea water from somewhere. The leak is probably not very big. I am still looking for it. Right now I need help to understand  how to remove the floor board/cabin sole under the sink. Any help is much appreciated.

A fellow Hanse sailor recently suggested to use a chainsaw, when it seemed impossible to dismount the furniture in our Hanses. It is a fact, that the Hanse Yard (Hanse Factory) often choose the least expensive solution when they assemble our boats. The challenge then occurs if we want to change a defective fridge compressor, or if we want to mount spare parts in places with no access.
I sail in a different Hanse, but since all our Hanses are built from the bottom up, there may be places where the chainsaw (or a tool with smaller teeth) is the only possible way.
You will have to assume that the furniture may be mounted after the floorboards, therby making it impossible to remove the floorboard in one piece.
Look at the photo to get an idea of how the Hanse is assembled.

P.S. I have a few photos (from myhanse) of the building process of a H370. Years ago a former dutch owner of a H370 had a homepage (now deleted), where he had a section called "Werftbesoek", it was impossible to download the photos, so I only posess a series of rather bad screendumps. I have lately seen other dutch sailors post high quality building pictures of the same H370, so someone must have access to the photos. If so, please let the Hanse forum get access as well. The copyright issue must be invalid after 16-17 years.

Are you sure it is seawater? It may be condensed water from the fridge, too. In our case, the metal tube from compressor to evaporator collected condensed water and it drop to bilge. Here are some threads that may be useful to read:

Off-topic response...
Hi Cpt. Cook
I have 22 images from that page, that I can't remember the Source-Url.
They are all named werf_10-32.jpg, but they are only aprox. 50kb each and size 720x482.
Could be interesting if they exist in better quality.
If you have the url (for source credits)?, I can upload them to a single post in the 370 section.

Hi H8jer
In this forum of 12000 topics and 98000 posts I have just used ½ an hour to find the old dutch member with a H370. Ironically, when I failed to find anything, I used the duckduck machine to find the link back to myhanse.com.  The searchline was "Werftbesoek Hanse Greifswald".
The members name is "Hansl", and his homepage is "http://www.hleijnse.nl/".
The homepage is still active, but the Hanse photos are gone.
Hans Leijnse wrote this post in february 2008, where one of the pictures is displayed:

I believe that the prudent way to procede will be to ask Hans (via his homepage), if he is okay with the idea that his private photos once again will be made available to the Hanse forum.
I believe that Hans sold his H370 years ago.

Ok I was able to figure out how to remove the floor without cutting it. To remove it, you have to pry up the forward end so it can move towards the bow. Second, you have to bang to floor towards the bow for approximately 6 inches. After the stern end clears the small corner, you have to start banging it towards port side.

The source of the leak was the water muffler. drain plug on the bottom.
