| Hi! I'm in the process of buying a Hanse 531. A local boat builder who has repaired this model claims there's a problem with water leaking from the transom garage into the grid, and that this moisture causes the tanks to corrode (I can confirm that at least one is leaking). I'm not sure if this is endemic. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? |

I'm going to assume the lack of responses is a good sign.  After as thorough survey, I'm happy to report that there is absolutely no water anywhere in the grid. In fact, the surveyor commented that he has seen few boats as dry.

Hi I have a Hanse 531 in Sydney called Balistic and it has no such problem of any leakage into the grid. ------------- yes |
