Hello, my Hanse 411 from 2001 had a little sidewise collision and the rubbing strake "Scheuerleiste" needs to be replaced partially. Can someone help me to find the right type and where to purchase?
Thanks a lot
Markus

Hi Markus,

I have similar problem on my 411, the wooden strake is partly damaged. I found the potential cost of repair far to high and decided to use epoxy to fill up the broken sections. However, my damage might not be as severe as yours.

Thanks a lot for your answer. Epoxy was my plan B,  but it seems, I have to use it. Best regards, Markus

"Scheuerliste" is marketed in lenghts of 10 -12 meters. It is possible to buy a shorter lenght, by contacting boatoon. I bought a lenght of 2 meters, quite expensive, but the freight was even more expensive!
