Hi Amarone
I don't understand that you have a rubber gaitor, because with self-aligning bearing, the tube is kept so tall that there would be no need for a rubber gaitor. The maintenance of a self-aligning bearing is also to pour fresh-water into the tube if the boat is to be stored on shore. So the rubber gaitor indicate an old bearing house, but jefa has a pdf with spares with the self-aligning bearings - even with different measurements... To be sure I think you would need to measure the diameter of the tube in which the lower rudder-bearing resides. Either from the seaside or by removing the rubber gaitor. Perhaps any 411 also from 2005 could help here? I think my knowledge is not sufficient. Kind Regards |
