Hi, Night Train has a Selden mast which came with the factory fitted gennaker option. The halyard exits the mast about half way between the forestay and the top of the mast. For a bit more flexibility when racing I would like to put in another halyard, ideally from the mast head. The original promo photos showed this, but I think that boat boat had a Sparcraft mast.
Has anyone done this, if so advice would be much appreciated All the best Paul

Hi Paul,
My 2016 415, which has a Selden mast has the gennaker halyard sheave at the masthead with a stainless, I think, fairlead immediately below it. Raggy Doll is new to me, purchased in November, so we are still getting used to it, but both my partner love the boat. A couple of weeks ago we tried the gennaker for the first time and this week we have been playing with our Blue Water Runner, both doubled up as a light wind genoa and as a double head sail. I must say I just love this sail. I will try and find a photo of the arrangement. Best regards Fraser |
