There is a black toggle switch (black selector; O on top; I on bottom) which I can't identify what it controls in my Hanse 458. I had asked broker previously but not heard back yet and hoping one of you is familiar with it. The location is the cabinet above chart table to the right of the radio and under my espar heater left of leg solenoid control. It came in the up position (marked O) and I have been trying to identify in the owners manual what it controls.

Anyway! Any advice/ knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Best,
Jared

I have the same switch on a 588.it is used to limit the fuel eberspacher heater to the hot water, instead of both hot water and heating. Does it make sense? Of course, the same switch can be used for many applications!

My toggle switch is marked with a flame and a fan.It belongs to the Webasto diesel heater, The flame means hot air, while the fan means unheated/cold air.

awesome thanks guys! That makes a ton of sense and is way easier than turning all the thermostats to zero in order to have it just do water. I will check out if mine is wired to just do hot water or let me do the fans without consuming diesel (both would be pretty great options). If it is the haleater I have been thinking of a way to rig another switch so I can circulate air without diesel (for hot days). Would be nice to bring somebof that bilge cooled air up into the main cabin.
