Hi all,
I need to make some repairs to my teak deck. Does anyone know what kit has been used and if the teak deck is directly glued to the GRP deck? Thanks in advance Michiel |

The teak deck is laid in a vacuum process with Sicaflex. No screws are used.
Sikaflex-290 DC PRO can be used for the joints. For sticking Sikaflex-298 can be used. The yard can also use cheaper products;)

Two years ago I replaced all the teak, because the Caribbean sun ended up disintegrating it. I chose a Flexiteek synthetic product which I am very satisfied with, although it has its advantages and disadvantages. The most expensive thing was to remove the teak, it was well attached to the gelcoat of the deck.
