There is a mast block for the staysail halyard and a fitting for the stay itself

Do you have measurements of where you attached the inner forestay to the mast? Also...Did you install check stays to support this point?

Sorry but I am not on the boat at now.
Let say the attachment is 0,5m under the selftailing  halyard block. I did install runners. The sail is around 15m2

Alain, great pictures of your improvements, glad to hear that you are using Lancelin ropes, excellent choice.
Very tidy job, expecially the work inside.
