Hello Boomjack. First you’ll need one of these.  
This is a 4 channel RF relay. 2 channels will be port and stbd bow and the other two will be port and stbd stern. You will use the NORMALLY OPEN terminals and set the relays to MOMENTARY MODE. The terminals are wired to the contactor unit on the motors. 
 Common goes to common on the contactor and the NORMALLY OPEN goes to the energize on the contactor for either port or stbd buttons accordingly. Same for stern. If you need more you can PM for details.

I used these to replace my stern gate remote but they seem appropriate for thrusters as well.   I used 12V, and I'm not sure they have 24V,  but they were great to work with.

Bear in mind that the SUPPLY voltage for the receiver unit is 12 volts. The control for the 24 volt thruster is simple switching which has a range of voltage and current. Usually 12 to 120 volts and 10 amps. The switching current for the contractors is only about 2 amps. You would need to find a suitable 12 volt supply source on the boat.
